On my computer i am currently dual booting Windows XP and Server 2003. I have a 40GB partition that i am not using. If i install Fedora 10 on the partition will i still be able to boot to my XP or Server 2003 OS's, or will Fedora remove my boot options?

I'm doing exactly the same with Win XP and 2003 plus Mandrake Linux 10.1.

I was ready to get in and change the file settings - but I found the Linux set everything up perfectly.

Just be sure that you follow the installation order:

Win 2003

Win XP - if you have already got these installed, just install the

Linux

Each are in their own partitions on drives C:, G: and H:

After the POST, your system will use the Linux booting menu - asking which OS you want to use - Linux or Windows (Linux by default)

If you select Windows - you are then presented with a Windows boot menu asking Win 2003 or Win XP?

You can install Fedora 10 in your 40GB unused partition.. After completing the successful installation you will be able to boot Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Fedora 10. you have any more questions or doubts related Dual Boot. Mail Me i'll support you..

Fedora 10's installer is smart enough to find your other partitions OSes and add them to the bootloader. You will be faced with a new and different menu interface for choosing your OS at boot time, but you will have no problem booting into the OSes you already have installed.
