Yes, Angelos sucks as an owner, but let's not put all of the blame on him....years ago, the city of Baltimore had a chance to buy the Orioles AND the Colts, but Willie Don (that's William Donald Schaefer, former mayor of Baltimore, later became Governor, for those of you not in the know...) wouldn't sign off on it.....I think the Orioles were selling for like, $8 million dollars, and that was too much to spend for the team. (eventually sold for $12 million to Edward Bennett Williams, a D.C. lawyer) Obviously, it was some time ago, (1979) but we'd still have the Colts, and the Orioles would be owned by the city, like the Green Bay Packers.
