Help finding a video editing software that meets this requirements?

Question

I need a video editing software that meets these requirements:

1. Can edit WMV/AVI files.
2. Saves the output as lossless video (After a file is edited and saved, it retains its original format.) (Does not require encoding/re-encoding)
3. Preferably is free, or has a registered/unlocked torrent easily available.
4. Can cut parts out of a WMV/AVI files (example: Can cut commercials out of a TV recording)

I've been looking everywhere, can't seem to find one that isn't a 30 minute trial or malware. Thank you.

If you're talking about free video editing software, Windows Movie Maker is probably the best. For software that you have to pay for, Sony Vegas Pro is extremely good but also extremely pricey. I personally use Corel VideoStudio Pro X4. You do have to pay some money for it, but it is a lot better than Windows Movie Maker and is less expensive than Vegas Pro.
