What is a good free IFO/VOB video converter?

so i ripped some files off a dvd and now theyre on my desktop in a "VIDEO_TS" folder. theyre all IFO files and VOB files. i need to convert them into mpeg4 files to put them on my ipod. does anyone know of a good FREE converter to do this? Please and thank you!
