how do I edit "/etc/apt/sources.list" in debian 5.0?

in the instructions it says I got to edit /etc/apt/sources.list to install flash but I don't know how to edit it.

From terminal:



gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list



EDIT: If you would've just tried it you would've known. It launches a GUI program and there is a big save button just like a normal text editor...
