I downloaded a media file (flv extension) from youtube but it can't be play, what should i do?

I dowloaded a file from www.youtube.com but it didn't play, however i test it with some player such as media player classic (k-light). when i try to play it this message (error) appear:

you know i downloaded many fime some of them play but some of them cant, and i am sure that it download completely.

I think it is a video or audio codec problem, you should download and install the correct codec, you can try install RZ Video Converter, it built-in an all-in-one media codec, can play any videos and audios, it is a trial version, but play video and convert audio is free without any limit.

actually media player can not support flv, so the first you need to do is to convert flv to other formats acceptable to media player, like wmv. Moyea youtube converter can do a perfect job for you, and i am using this one, too. if you need more useful info. just do a google search via key words, Moyea youtube converter . hope it helps!

Nowadays there are many types of FLV files ending with *.flv. However, their video codec is different, h.264, h.263, VP6, VP6 alpha, f4v, m4v. Some player just can play FLV with h.263, VP6, VP6 alpha. And can not play other types of FLV.

The music you are download or attempting to doesn't contain the proper mediatype stream nor does it fit the time format for your recording device...I dont know what your using but real player and windows media player work just fine..you just have to adjust the downloading file and time format which is no big deal...but sometimes you can get lucky and no adjustment is necessary...

i use youtube downloader for that stuff. you download the file which is a FLV file. then a quick click here and there and you can change it into MP3, MP4 and other media type produtcs. the sites extremly eazy to rember and its like onlu 5 MB of space but can rip any vid off of youtube and change it to the one that you what. i also sujest "unplug" plugin attatchmen if you use firefox.
