Question:
Why does my Window Media Player operate differently? Downloaded a fresh version on WMP 11. It looks cheap!?

I recently dumped everything on my hard drive & started fresh. My old Windows Media Player had album art, various user friendly extra (sorting, etc). I downloaded from various places. including Limewire. When the file info was descriptive enough, WMP would find the album art & info. The new WMP that's running now seems very basic. Just simple listings. No extras to speak of. I went to Microsoft, downloaded the latest WMP 11, rebooted, but no change. What can I do to get my WMP back to the way it was? Is there something I need to download other than the latest version? Any recommendations on other player that may be better than WMP? Thanks.

As you said you put a lot of plug ins in your old version, you will have to do this again.
