How can i get a windows vista installation CD free?

Every time i try to boot up my computer it never works it says please insert windows installation CD the problem is i don't have one. Is there any way i can get one?

Try getting one from maker of your computer. I got free discs from Dell before mine was a year old. But after a year they charge you a small fee.



I presume HP and others do the same.

That is NOT true, what is absolutely TRUE is this: You didn't RTFM.



Read the PC User Manual to learn how to BURN your very own Windows Recovery Disks, AND, how to return your Branded (DELL,HP, etc.) PC to "Factory New" condition.



This also assumes you haven't already tried to re-format your hard drive, using another Windows Disk, and destroyed the Manufacturer's hidden Recovery partition. If so, order Replacement Recovery disks directly from the manufacturer, which includes all the PC's required Device Drivers.

It sounds as if the boot files have been corrupted. Sometimes putting another copy of vista in the drive will go as far as reinstalling them if the original is legit.



2nd use it and at boot click F8 a few times to get to safe mode.Then try to reinstall the boot files.

Legally:

Contact the maker of your PC. Usually they will supply you with a disk for a small shipping/handling fee. (Usually in the $10-$20 range.)



Otherwise:

Torrent sites.

Since you have a legal license for the use of the program, you can install it from any disk including a pirated one.
