Excel Scatter graph question?
Hi, I am hoping for a bit of advice with plotting a graph.

I have 10 individual scatter graphs with a linear trendline on each one. My scatter graphs are based on temperatures for each day of the year and product sales for a individual item. I have temp on the x axis and sales on the y axis. As there are 356 days in the year i have 356 sales data points plotted for each scatter.

I need to combine these graphs onto 1 main graph. As the sales value ranges are silimilar for most of my products with the exception of 3 where i was thinking of using a secondary axis or the logarithmic scale.

My problem occurs trying to get the scatter data all onto 1 graph. 356 data points for each product looks a strange (more like large blocks of colour!) its confusing to the eye and hard to see whats going on. I suppose i just want to show the general trend for each product, similar to the linear trendline on each of my individual graphs. Is there anyway i can do this?

Thanks a lot

I would get away from the scatter graph, then. Try plotting both sets of data as a bar graph, then, change the series type for your temperatures to another chart type.

In my opinion, a line or scatter chart for just the one series would look better against the bar graph instead of having 712 points with both as a scatter graph. I can definitely see how it would be impossible to determine the data.

A Stacked Bar Chart might be better suited to present your data.

attempt this.......... spotlight/pick the full graph you desire to repeat Then, pick edit - reproduction or Key Ctl "C" (same result) Now, circulate to your observe rfile and as a substitute of doing edit - Paste, do here: From the job bar; pick Edit - Paste specific..........then pick image (Megafile) could get the result mandatory/needed
