How do i install uf raw gimp plug in on mac mountain lion?

Question

I need some help on installing a gimp plug in to open and edit raw files its called uf raw.
would anyone know how i can install this plug in ? i am running os mountain lion
hope someone can help me

I am not too sure when it comes to Mac, I think you would need to place the proper files http://registry.gimp.org/node/31 in the Plugin folder.



There is now a native UFRaw support for Mac http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Graphics/UFRaw.shtml



There are other options out there as well for you, such as Darktable http://www.darktable.org/install/#osx , RAW Therapee http://rawtherapee.com/downloads , and Photivo http://photivo.org/photivo/download_and_setup (which also features integration with Gimp).

This is from the UFRAW Mac download page:



"If you use the GIMP on OS X application bundle, then the UFRaw plug-in is already bundled with Gimp. As far as I know the stand-alone version of UFRaw is not included".

can't open raw file on any com...& if there were a update gimp will get it & let u know there is 1..

If you didn't deactivate Photoshop earlier than you reinstalled your method, you'll have reached the restrict on installs. Name Adobe aid, explain what happened, and they'll reset it.
