my uncle jsut bought a laptop that has windows vista home premium (english) and his wife wants to start learning how to use the computer, however she knows very little english. is there a way, software or configuration, to make windows display chinese along with the english, or even only chinese? such as the "start" button or "file" and etc... i saw some xp pro computers with this ability and some software such as nj star, but nj star only shows chinese on web pages.

sorry but in order to change languages or display chinesse, u must buy or update to Ultimate version of windows vista. Ultimate version gives u the option to change languages of 34 different languages such as chinesse and spanish.

sorry to inform u about this

i trust you may receive a application from Microsoft named AppLocale. This for particular for for xp, yet for vista, i'm uncertain. yet when there aren't the different concepts, you should attempt it.
