Like jam said...NO! When you install something, it looks into your system and tailors itself to work on your computer! Some older software you might be able to but todays software, forget it!

It shouldn't work, but I've done it before. Most of the time it has to be registered with Windows to run properly but I copied a game's files over LAN once and ran it fine.

Might as well try.

It depends upon the instalation style chosed by the installer. So if you copy only the folder, then you may or may noyt play the game. Remember it may be illegal to install one game in two computer for one licence.

Perhaps not programs when installed scatter some other files to different folders other that you see in program files folder, like in common files save items mostly found document settings etc. And there are still other files from the cd that isnt being transfered to your pc during installation.

no, programs generally do not work that way in windows. they embed themselves into the system with *.dll files and other dependencies. you will need to obtain another copy of the games disc.

That will typically not work, as installation of the application usually involves changing the system registry and placing files in the operating system folders.

No, it won't work. The game has to be installed to work.

only if you have the original exe files for the programme .....when you install a game bits of the programme go in to various files and sections of the computer such as the registry .....if would be vary difficult /impossible to locate all the parts you may need to simply copy to another computer

Why not just copy it and see if it works on the new computer? Best way to find out...
