I've decided to try making my own shirts. I'm getting the special transfer "iron on" paper. I have the t-shirts and the ink for the printer. But, my only question is how to type backwards on Word or Power Point so that when I do print it and then transfer it, it doesn't end up backwards. If you know what I mean.

Easy. Just take a screenshot of what you want to appear backwards, (if you have windows just press the print screen button and paste it into mspaint) then flip the image. Crop it, and drag it to word/powerpoint. done.

This tends to be more of a printer function than a Powerpoint one, but here's how to do it from within Powerpoint. (Note that the Print dialog box is pretty universal across Windows applications, so this procedure could be used by MS Paint and other programs.)

1. Press CTRL/P.

2. In the Print dialog box, click the Properties button.

3. If the Basics tab is available, click it.

4. If not, try the Finishing tab.

5. Again, if it's available, check the Mirror Image checkbox and click the OK button.

6. Click the OK button to print. It’s a good idea to test this on a sheet of ordinary paper before committing a piece of transfer paper.

Hope that helps.
