Ok. You said that u receive 3 beeps... but what type of beeps If it is a Long Beep.. then u probably having problem with your RAM (Memory).... First Try Checking your Memory with your hardware vendor... If you are sure your memory is ok... then there could be some onboard graphic card problem.... In short you are having some hardware related problem and not having any windows related problem And as you clarified in your question that you had already faced battery related problem.... Try Checking with an alternate battery as well as check it on AC Power Outlet and see whether it solves your problem...... But According to me.. The most probable reason for your problem is with Memory because u specified in your query that " screen is black and it beeps three times every few seconds and it fails to boot at all." this symptom is caused 98% because of a faulty RAM....
