Restart Dell system and hit Ctrl + F11.

On the next screen, click "Restore". Next, click "Confirm".

This process will erase all your previous changes that have been made to the Dell Inspiron laptop and reset the configuration settings to factory setting. It will probably take 10-ish minutes.

Click 'Finish' and go on step-by-step and restart your Dell system. After system restart click OK.

Note: Alternatively you can press F8 after restart, if Ctrl + F11 doesn't work.

I hope it helps.

Go to Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Windows File Recovery>choose 'Create a System Image' in the left pane>then create a system repair disc to coincide with the system image. (just follow the prompts)

You should be able to reboot, press and hold F8 until you get the black screen and then choose recovery option>>Factory restore and allow to run. This will comlpete in either 30minutes up to an hour and will restore the computer to out-of-box condition.

Hope this helps.
