I started using FoxIt Reader after having several issues with Adobe Reader specially with its slowness!
I think that FoxIt Reader is a much better PDF reader! and I cannot believe people still used Adobe bulky big slow software. I think the reason behind Adobe Reader popularity is because it comes bundled with most desktops and laptops. But don't you agree that FoxIt is far better?

The biggest advantage I have found so far is that Foxit does NOT eat up the resources that Adobe does. Also it seems to be somewhat more tolerant of selecting text

I'm not really sure that this topic is suited for a Yahoo Answers board. This sounds like a forum discussion to me. Unless you're advertising or something. If you want to chat about programs, find a software forum and gab about how astounding FoxIt Reader is.

Personally, I don't browse PDFs that often, but when I do, Adobe does everything I need it to do. I've never used FoxIt, so I can't say if it's better one way or another, but I'll say that yes, as Adobe came with my computer, I've never had need to download anything else.

I personally prefer the simple and lightweight, Sumatra PDF, but Adobe reader is still kinda slow.
