program to free up memory on my computer?

i need a program to free up memory on my pc. (windows 7). but i want somthing that will actiouly do the job not just make me pay for it at the end...any suggestions?

Disable unnecessary startup programs and services. Otherwise, your best solution is just to buy another RAM stick

When you use the term memory, computer people will think of RAM. If you use storage, then the Hard drive is meant. The RAM is cleaned/freed every time you shut down your computer because it is volatile memory. The is nonvolatile.
