how to link libreoffice documents?

Question

i would like to link two documents the first including a table where is mentioned all the page numbers with topics and chapters of the second.
so when ever i update the second one the first gets updated too

You might just want to create a table of contents which is very easy. Here is the LibreOffice help page for creating one:
