I have windows 7 ultimate version with 64-bit operating system.I have replaced some programmed files from their default position(c: to e:). So now they are not working ,i think they are damaged(windows photo viewer,windows defender and all games.How can I correct them again.I don't have have any original windows installation disc and also don't know the location of files.so i can't reinstall it. please help me.

Try system restore, it works very well.



Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.



Select some date on which your PC worked fine and restore it.

if you moved them from (c: to e:) a restore will not work everything needs to be on c; to restore it. I would suggest going online to your pcs manufacture website and ordering a recovery disc,most pcs I know you can. good luck

Reinstall.



If you can't do that, try copying all files from e:\windows to c:\windows, but I doubt it will work.
