what you need is a third party tool to covert your powerpoint to video. i know a product called Acoolsoft PPT2Video which must be able to help you. it is easy to use and nearly all the elements including animation, music, etc can be retained. it works quite well. you can have a try here.http://www.acoolsoft.com/powerpoint-to-video-overview.html

You can try this tool -PPT to Video converter :
PPT to Video is an ideal solution for converting PowerPoint to video. With only a few mouse clicks, you can convert your PowerPoint presentations to almost all popular video formats, such as AVI, WMV, MPEG, MOV, MP4, and FLV, with excellent quality. After the conversion, you can view your presentations just like a movie.
Maybe you could try creating a screencast while playing the slideshow in powerpoint, it will then save it as a move file. You may need to use the narrate function though if you have sound. Try a program I listed in the sources or google 'screencast'
