Is your W 7 (version?) DVD an complete or OEM version, or, is it a residing house windows 7 improve DVD, as shown on the DVD label. Assuming that is an improve DVD, then you actually must have Vista put in and operating, to improve to W 7. And, upgrading from Vista x86 to W 7 x86 is your in reality decision, and the variations ought to adventure too, like residing house suitable classification to residing house suitable classification. you could't bypass from Vista 32-bit to W 7 sixty 4-bit, the improve W 7 DVD prevents you from doing this. "if I re-put in my contemporary OS (Vista) ought to I then have the driver present" definite, that is precisely what you need to do. Insert the DVD even as operating Vista, W 7 improve DVDs at the prompt are not chilly-bootable. If yours isn't a W 7 improve DVD, please re-placed up and let us know what W 7 DVD you do have, and if that is PIRATED (you under no circumstances suggested). Then, per chance we may be able to help you extra.

I think your problem may be related to a corrupt Visual C++ application. Go to the cited source below and download and install all the downloads for your applicable Windows 7, (x86 files = 32 bit edition, x64 = 64 bit edition.)
