Question:
WinRar problems (extracting .7z files)?

It's a simple problem I think. Unfortunately, I'm terrible with mods, so I'm having issues. I basically cannot extract files (TESIV:O mods) to ANY folders. It puts an error for EVERY FILE in the diagnostics page saying it can't open said file. I've checked the internet for fixes but nothing comes up. I turned off all firewalls and redownloaded files from different mirrors to guarantee they weren't corrupt. I have Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit). Can anyone help me? :-(

If it's a .7z try using 7-Zip, a free utility which was most probably used to compress the file in the first place:

Winrar 7z

The new WinRAR can extract .7z files so that cant be a problem. Possibly since your in x64 bit using x32bit software some parts of WinRAR aren't compatible.

I use Winrar. Got it here: http://j.mp/1p3PkJW

The best program to decompress files is Winrar, you can unzip all kind of files!(.zip, .rar, .7z, .iso, .tar, .jar, .cab, .gz, .ace, .uue, .bz2, etc...)
