The best tool for this used to be AUTOPATCHER

It was available for Win2K-Sp4, WinXP-SP2, WinXP-64, Win2K3 SP1 and comprised of all updates released since the last known service pack. Apart from the updates, it also contained goodies, registry fixes and 3rd party utils. The AutoPatcher project was discontinued at the behest of M$.

You can still find older versions of Autopatcher hosted on the net. I suggest you go for the older versions as they can drastically reduce the number of new updates required.

Another good update pack is Ryan's Update Pack.

You can also visit www.softwarepatch.com and download the individual updates. You can string together the updates into a batch file and run it on the individual machines to update them.

Hope this helps

I think there is a way of doing this via the server, do you have a server? I don't have access to MS Exchange now but I remember there was an option somewhere to update other computers on a network.

If you don't have access to MS Exchange or the equivalent you can always set up the other computers to update themselves automatically everyday.

To do this, open the Control Panel (Start and the Control Panel).

Double click Scheduled Tasks. A new window will open.

Double click Add Schedule Task.

A Wizard will open.

When the list appears scroll down to Windows Update and click the Next button and follow and select the options you need.

This should work and save you the hassle of going to every machine.

Hope this helps, not, try a search on http://www.tucows.com and http://www.download.com , these sites might have a better option, a piece of software etc.

Microsoft's WSUS will do this. They have plenty of info at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/wsus/default.aspx
