I just downloaded itunes 7.7 and it is not allowing my limewire as a shared folder?

My itunes 7.7 won't allow me too open my shared limewire folder (version 4.18.3) it says " The shared library "...'s Limewire Tunes" is not compatible with this version of itunes. Please help i don't know what to do.

Update the new limewire. Just download the newer version which looks the same exact way (wow, i know.) and it might work.

I downloaded the new (4.18 ) Limewire but encountered the same problem.

The music file ,upon completion, opens up iTunes but doesn't go to the Limewire folder,just the shared folder on my Mac where it can't be played or dragged to iTunes.

i kno this isnt totally an answer but im having the exact same problem...itunes worked fine with my shared music b4 i updated it...and if this helps you can still listen to your music through the front row app if ur using a mac but u cant do other things while ur listening to music....also all my music is on my desktop and to share music from it to my macbook i leave itunes on on my pc and turn sharing on and my library will open in itune on my mac...thats also an option i hope this helps
