I donwloaded windows 8 from a 3rd source caus ei hate the new windows live beta 9. When i try to run it, it says "a newer version is available. you must install it". how do i dodge this and run my older version?

I know its possible since my brother is doing it. But he always had the old version and it never prompted him to update. I recently system restored mine so thats why i had to reinstall. so help?
