Try installing it again and re-uninstall. After uninstalled, restart your PC and see if it's still there. If it's, then manually delete it and if you can get rid of it or not.

i have less than no situations had that take position. Are you certain you're very nearly saving the XCF? Are you convinced you're saving the XCF interior of an similar area - per chance you kept it some position else and look at were given more advantageous than one XCFs. GIMP does not delete layers with the help of twist of destiny, it without difficulty looks like you're failing to keep the XCF. it really is how I traditionally paintings: keep your XCF earlier you've were given finished a lot paintings on the picture. Then as you progression at established periods hit CTRL+S (keep). That technique, it is going to overwrite the faster XCF every time you hit shop. If the layers are there once you shop the XCF - the finished layers are in spite of the undeniable fact that considered at the same time as you open the XCF once extra. once you fail to keep the XCF, there is not any thanks to get layers lower back. EDIT > i'm convinced you do understand your technique round your pc - yet I have by no potential been waiting to reproduction that situation in any respect. something weird and wonderful for sure occurring there. only a theory - you're literally not utilizing offline folders utilizing some type of domicile windows folder syncing over a community are you? it really is the actually element i visit guage of that would replace or revert to before kept information. have you ever checked the creation date on the information?

you already sent it to recycling bin? then the files won't be found, but next time you start up your computer, they'll be gone.
