False. A field is a single data point (one piece of information). A record is a collection of related fields - that is, fields that are all pieces of information about the same object. When you see a database in table form, each row of the table is a record.

Nope. False.

A field is one part of a record or row, such as phone number or Last name.

A record is group of fields that are all about one person or object or event (whatever the programmer decides should be logically grouped together).

Example:

A person : first name, last name, date of birth, street address, city, state, zip, phone number, customer ID number, date of last purchase.

An event: Customer ID, date of purchase, Item number (for an invoice)

An object: Item number, Short description, Long description, number on hand, minimum inventory count, cost, sales price, taxable item?, Location in the store

Good luck

Absolutely true in the material sense only. I've known many people from poor to rich. My experience has been that the ones with the most material wealth were the poorest in terms of happiness. On the other hand, I've known many poor people in the material sense who were extremely happy with an insatiable zest for life.
