I have been using Ubuntu and also Red-Hat and I would like to know where I could find a good solid list of games for a Linux platform. I know that Linux itself has the console where you can find game automatically but I know they have more. And I am not sure how to set Linux to use Third Party Sources since they went to version 10.10.

you could also have a look through the games section in your software manager,

my mandriva and pclinuxos have about 40 games in each - including a sims clone

A very innovative native Linux game for you:

Savage: The Battle for Newerth (XR)

Savage combines the computer game genres FPS, RTS and minor aspects of RPG into an online/LAN only multiplayer game. As the commander in RTS mode, you will tackle resource management, develop a tech tree, plan tactical and strategic assault and lead a team of up to 64 human players into battle. As a unit in action mode, you will master melee combat, many unique weapons, powerful units, and siege vehicles to fight a fast paced battle. Aim of the game is to destroy the opponents head quarter.

Or, you're able to desire to purchase an previous replica of residing abode abode windows XP. I fairly advise that very final one, fairly.
