Malware analysis... (reverse engineering)?

Question

I understand it is using reverse engineering to analyse and see how the Malware infects, affects and corrupts files ect ect

But I was wondering if anyone here has done some malware analysis before? Can you explain the process for example where to begin, what tool to use for the malware analysis, any good user friendly tutorials you know of or used before? Any good useful information would be helpful

lets start with the facts, malware is not a virus & does not infect anything, it's like a cookie, a web site put it on u like a bank does, & they r harmless, now when they turn in to a Trojan it's a little harder to get rid of, cause it hides in a temp file, so what do u do with that, delete temps but u can take care of it by doing disk clean-up making sure a mark is in all temps, to be sure delete cookies & history restart & it gone, was that easy:)
