Windows installer freezes in windows 8.1 pro preview?

Question

Whenever i try to install any software(eg:quicktime player, msoffice, dotnet framework 3.5 etc) that uses windows installer feature in windows 8.1 pro preview, it freezes the installation(no error message displayed) and i have to end the process from task manager.I tried many registry cleaners and windows installer repair softwares but nothing helps.I don't know how to repair or re-install windows installer in windows 8.1 pro preview blue version.please help me to resolve the problem.

Well the pro version is always released to check the functioning of that particular window. So it's normal that they may have some errors in them. That's the reason for your problem. To solve this problem I will say that you should buy a genuine window instead of using a pro preview.

Windows 8.1 doesn't support software installation at this moment. They don't even allow Chrome to be installed on it!



When they release the full update to Windows 8.1, they will have this problem fixed.

Check for events related to application/system
