It happened ever since I went to my control panel and went to add or remove programs. I removed a program but I dont know which one it was because I deleted 5 programs. I have a Windows XP.

I'm not familiar with your particular problem, but it seems to

be getting pretty common. There are questions just like this

nearly every day now on Yahoo.

So I did a whole lot of searching and reading, going through

dozens and dozens of websites, only to find out that there's

nothing definitive out there.

The only semblance of a partial solution that kind of worked

for some people would require you to either 1: mess around

with your registry (which I would be totally deadset against),

or 2: downloading some weird utility (which I am even more

against, because that kind of stuff is what probably created

your problem in the first place).

Thus, let me recommend what I advise so many other folks

when YouTube gets slow, stuck or weird: clear your "cache"

of all "Temporary Internet Files". I'm also a big fan of wiping

out "Cookies" and "History". My "CHTIF triple-cure" seems

to resolve just about everybody else's problems, so why not

yours? At the very minimum, you should at least do this:

Internet Explorer 6:

> Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files > Yes > OK

Internet Explorer 7:

> Tools > Internet Options > Delete...

> Delete Files > Yes > Close > OK

Mozilla Firefox 2:

> Tools > Clear Private Data > (x) Download History

> (x) Cache > Clear Private Data Now

I don't know anything about Safari, and there always seems

to be issues with Opera, so I won't bother researching their

version of "CHTIF". But I have other words of advice:

-- If you have "Google Web Accelerator" or anything similar,

get rid of it immediately. GWA totally ruins YouTube.

-- Long videos require both "Flash" and "Shockwave". Flash

is included with Shockwave, but not vice versa.

-- Avoid useless add-ons, utilities and especially converters

and downloaders. There are many salespeople here on Y!A

disguised as Yahooligans shilling for your dollars. If there is

anybody on this page telling you acquire something, please

be aware that their 'answer' has probably nothing to do with

your question, and their supposed solution may actually be

the cause of your problem.

-- I don't know why this sometimes works, but the few times

I got stuck, I changed my URL from "www . youtube . com"

to just "youtube . com" or you can try "ca . youtube . com".

If you do find the "cause" and the "cure", I would very much

appreciate it if you could email me, either by clicking on my

avatar or writing to me at "inukjuak90@yahoo.com".

I wish you good luck. I hope something in my answer does

the trick for you.

It's mixture of elements: a million. You grew up. You do not do what you probably did while you're eight when you consider that you're now not eight. two. Conceptions of youngster growth converted. Kids at eight are competent of doing extra than simply striking out and racing motorcycles. three. Fashions converted. xBox is fashionable. Pet rocks don't seem to be. Bikes don't seem to be. four. Urbanization. As extra households moved to towns, the proposal of a again backyard and a cul de sac grew to be much less distinguished. five. Technology did develop. You can play a lot more refined video games. 6. The web. Computers don't seem to be only a recreation to play. They are a solution to socialize and converse with peers. You used to hang around at the streets when you consider that that was once the way you would speak to different children. Now, your pc is the way in which you speak to different children.

that's happened to me a lot of times, I've also got windows XP, but my computer could be different from yours so it might not work. What I do when that happens, and it happens when I use my computer to offen at a time. I don't get on for a few days, then out of no where the sound comes back. You could try turning it on, and then restarting it. I'm not sure if that helps at all, but if that fails then call a computer wize! ^^

I've just checked my add/remove programs and I saw nothing to do with it. Check to see if your speakers are plugged into the computer or wall outlet. Maybe that is the problem, or if your volume is down on your computer.

Hi

I think you accidentally removed your sound driver or any other program sharing important files with it.

Your motherboard came with a CD. Install the AUDIO DRIVER from it, and you will get the sound back

sometimes , somehow , the Volume Control gets to zero or become mute

1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2.Click Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices.

3.Uncheck the " mute " ( if it's checked ) , adjust the Device volume to the highest click Apply, then click Speaker Volume , adjust all to highest , then click OK
