Once check your System Configuration

It should meet these requirements:

Microsoft® Windows® 7, Windows Vista®, Windows® XP, with latest service packs installed (32-bit or 64-bit editions)

Intel® Pentium® 4, AMD Athlon™ 64 or AMD Opteron™

1 GB RAM

750 MB hard disk space (1 GB for typical installation without content). Up to 6GB needed to install extra content

Mouse or tablet

1024 x 768 screen resolution (768 x 1024 on a Tablet PC)

DVD drive

Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 7 or higher.

i could replace it in case you have a valid version of abode windows XP. there are various protection patches secure in that provider %. and as reported above some courses will in basic terms run if SP2 is put in. besides the undeniable fact that, there are a undeniable style of steps you need to accomplish purely before downloading SP2. decrease than is the link from Microsoft that outlines what you need to do till now setting up SP2. be conscious: the 2nd link decrease than has an option to order the SP2 disk extremely than acquire it online in case you like. transport and coping with expenses may be conscious besides the undeniable fact that it a small cost to have the disk. in case you're on Dial-up, it takes an prolonged time to acquire it so the disk is optimum.

I think some third party applications are still not installed. That may be the reason. Try getting the following microsoft c++ 2005 redistributable or its 2008 version. That I think shoulkd help. Or try upgrading your windows installer to version 3.1

Good luck.
