Has anyone used tool to disk space analyzer in windows ? Any recommendations?

Does anyone know how to do find a tool disk space analyzer in windows ? Share me with your experience/ tell me how to resolve it.

As an old computer user, I have stored many hard disks in the past ten years.
Now I am using two 2T big disk and other disks with windows 7 OS, and I also used windows xp, vista for some years.
The disks are fulled with too many personal files.
I meet a big issue that there are two many duplicated files in my disks, but I can not find good ways to delete them. How to run disk space analyzer in windows?
These duplicated files maybe duplicated photos, duplicated mp3, duplicated movie files, duplicated documents, which are with same size, but different name.
Some files are with the same name, but in different folder. Some files are with different name and different folders. Especially some duplicated photos used too many space.
I need one tool or method which can do disk analyzer and list the big files for me. Then i can decide how to do wit
the files in turn.

I try some tools to list and delete dupliate files, but not find a good one.
How to find one tool disk space analyzer in windows 7? The duplicated photos are with different name, but the same size and different folder or different time stamp. I try to delete the duplicated files manually, but it is too slow to delete the duplicated files easily one by one by hand.

If your PC only has one hard disk, the file management tools built into Windows are probably sufficient, but if you manage multiple disks on one or more machines, you need something stronger. TIP: Try Picasa, it has some great built-in Tools, including an easy Duplicate Photo finder.

This doesn't really answer your question but as far as the pictures go Adobe photoshop elements has a Find menu on the tool bar and in the menu is Find By Visual Similarity. That way I can find a duplicated photo with a different file name but same picture.

hi jade markson, golly you can buy software to analyze but you know yourself that nothing works as good as maintance so let's do some now so reboot when you see your windows logo start tapping f8 safe screen scrol down to last good configuration(advance) now when you get back to your desktop go to control panel there hit the internet options icon there delete your history and cookies. now go to backup and restore there back your system up twice by hitting restore. now when that is complete then in control panel hit performance and information there hit clean disk check all the boxes that is using mbs except thumbnail you will be asked do you want to delete these files say yes. now in performance and information hit the advance at the bottom of the list there hit defragment this is important so make sure it is completed successfully. good luck i hope i was helpful to you

If you have extensive duplicates then you can set the program to delete files from certain diectories or save the output to a log and work your way through them at your leisure.



Duplicate Cleaner doesn't care what the file names are as it looks at the file contents to find the duplicates.
