Using windows explorer (not internet explorer), you navigate to the directory where you want the sub folder to be created.

For example, you go through My Computer, to the hard disk of your destination and then to the directory, or further on the directories within the directory (sub directories) where you want to create a new sub directory.

There you right click with your mouse and choose create > New Folder. You give it a name, and there you are. You've just created a sub folder.

creating a folder under another folder is called subfolders, Say for example if you have a folder called flight simulator, then open it and create a new folder it is called the subfolder and name it as required by the program which you are about to install it.

Well this is quite simple. You can accomplish this task in 2 ways basically.

open your command prompt (cmd).

C:\Directory_Where.you.want.to.create.subdirectories> mkdir or md abc\def\ghi\jkl\mno\pqr\stu\

It will create subdirectories in your required parent directory.

Else in windows you can give a right click and click on New-> Folder and then name the folder as you wish and agan open that folder and repeat the same step as you did before for creating the parent directory.

I hope it would help you. Let me know if still you need further clarifications or helps.

Thanks,

Sujit
