What do you think is the best media player to listen to music on and burn CDs with? I already have VLC and Windows Media Player, I usually use Winamp out of habit. What do you think would be the best to use? (Not just out of these three, the best out of all)

Super Mp3 Recorder Pro is the powerful recorder, editor and player which makes a complete recording studio of your computer. Really a nice one.

Here are some key features of “Super Mp3 Recorder Pro”:

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro can record any signal played through your sound card into Mp3, Wma, Vqf, Ogg or Wav files.

# With its powerful sound engine Super Mp3 Recorder Pro produces CD quality recordings.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro can edit audio files as you desired by cutting, copying, pasting, trimming and various DSP effects.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro can start and stop recording at any time you set.

# Most functions can be called up with a simple mouse click or menu selection.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro is able to automatically detect the recording formats your sound card supports and then set the application’s parameters for the best possible performance. The default parameters work in most cases, but you can change them easily to best suit your needs.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro integrates the complete set of record volume control for your convenience.

# Super Mp3 Recorder can record on the fly for as long as your like without interrupt. It can record and save to an mp3 file in one operation instead of having to save it to a wav and then spend time converting.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro enables you to manage recording files conveniently.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro has a Voice Activation System with which you can choose to skip silent passages, or stop the recording after a certain amount of silence.

# Super Mp3 Recorder Pro supports hotkey setting (F8 to start recording and F9 to stop recording by default).

So in my view, it is nice enough. Hope this help you.http://www.sharewarerating.com/super-mp3-recorder-pro-recorder-editor-and-player

a player, Realplayer, is a very good option, alone.

Only when subscribe (paid) -- because the most useful options, and some of the encoding are disabled until Real is paid (includes plug-in upgrades, other services, media)

Playback is seamless (almost) when PC meets the recomeded requirements.

This player will burn (CDs) from open music files.

~~~ Now, for no fee, I like the choice of the FREE Realplayer, along with using also Windows-Media-9,10, or 11 :: This last has better CD burn-speed than Realplayer FREE. (any version 6+) -- Windows-Media Player does also use a referenced Library browser for your files and media links & playlists.
RealPlayer FREE is a free download ...
Windows Media Player is a free download ... (you should install the latest your system supports, anyway.)
This answer is after personal experience on a desktop with xp.
(does Nulsoft winamp burn CDs?)
RealPlayer is a mark of Real Networks --
Windows, & Windows Media Player: are of Microsoft.
I stumbled across a media player that up until now, I had never even heard of. It was free so I downloaded and tried it out. It’s called GOM Player, and I was shocked by how great this player was (and no, I am not affiliate with GOM Player in any way shape or form…
