Yesterday I was outlining and colouring a picture Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and saved after six hours of work. Tonight I decided to open it and finish off the rest but it would not open the picture. Double clicking the file, a pop-up will say "Could not complete your request because of a program error." So I tried opening it in the Paint program but it would not even open in that.

Is there a way I can make it so I can open the picture again? I'm not sure my hand can handle all that cramping again. :C

First thing do not clear cookies or history. Do not run disk clean etc unless your problem is solved.

If you have saved the picture in PSD format then you can use a freeware WenovoPNG PSD Viewer, as I do got it therefore, I can say it is good. You can use the given url link to download.

After installation try to import that picture and open. If it works then re-save in PSD and in any other format as you wish.

If your picture is not in PSD format in that case you can use windows picture manager or any other freeware to open and see if that works.

In case non of the above work then? you better ask question in adobe forum link is given below.

To honest with you, it sounds like you have a corrupted file. Perhaps you shut down your computer before Elements had finished saving it.

You can't fix corrupted image files, or PSDs. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Do you have Coral software. You can use that picture there in new page, then import that image in photoshop. I think it will work
