Whats the best operating system for a computer?

Im buying a new imac for myself with my own money but i'm not fully sure if osx is the best operating system for a gaming person such as myself. Also, im going to be playing games such as minecraft, call of duty, (multiple versions) and other high needs games.

A Mac is the WORST thing you could buy if you're into gaming Bubba. Windows is the ONLY good gaming platform for computers period.

Personally its a matter of preference coming from someone who played batman arkham asylum on a Mac it takes a lot from the computer to run but depending on the specs of your iMac you should be good but for a really good gaming experience I would recommend you get alienware, there known for gaming computers

Mac OS- Web Browsing

Linux- Free and Open-source



Don'y buy into that "boot camp" crock of bullsh*t. If you actually ever did it ( like myself ) you would know Windows runs VERY slow on a Mac. People who support it for gaming have never tried it.



Face it, you need Windows 7 for your particular needs. For $1100, you could make a GREAT gaming setup too.

If you "need" to play a game that doesn't have an OS X version, just install Windows 7 via Boot Camp.
