About uTorrent... Again.?

In uTorrent, I paused a download and I'm planning to play it again this midnight.

And I find something strange. Even though in uTorrent it says the download is not complete ( 1.5 GB out of 7 GB), the folder that has the downloaded files says it's already completed (Saying that the folder already has all the files it need because the folder size is already 7 GB)

Is this normal? Can this "little" problem affect the download? (Well, I hope not)

This is normal. It preallocates the space. You can turn it off in the options, but you may have more issues (like finding out when a download is 99% complete that you ran out of space)

NO, this isnt any problem, this is usual, when ever u start downloading something the whole size been taken by the files when they are only 10 to 20% completed,, especially in movies it shows the full size after 2% download

First answer is correct-the space is pre-allocated so you do not run out of space during download.

If there was not enough space on your computer, pre-allocation would let you know at the beginning of the download.

You can pause and re-start a torrent as often as you want.
