Either its like the first two answers said.

Start Up folder within your user account, or all users.

Entry in your registry, "run". If I remember correctly its:

HKCurrent User, or HKLocal Machine-Software-

Microsoft-Windows-Current Version-then the "run"

folder might be found there. You might need to check one of the "policies" folders.

You'll know it when you see it. there will be an entry saying "Media Player" or "WMP" with a value saying something like "auto run" or something commanding it to run every time some other action takes place. Or every instance in which something else runs.

First you should run your W Media Player and check within it's options or preferences, maybe there's a setting that you can change. One thats currently set, causing it to do this.
