It has a window pop up with a red "X" that says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." How can I stop it. The tab runs fine afterwards. I have Windows Vista.

If you get this error when you click the internet explorer, open the registry by typing regedit and scroll down 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-)SOFTWARES-)MICROSOFT-)Internet Explorer and then give read permissions to USERS group on this folder

send me a mail if you face any problem

IE Enhanced security is important on the server as it will prevent most spy-ware from getting installed. You can actually leave it installed and just change one setting in the IE Security Tab Internet Zone called "Launching applications and unsafe files" to Prompt (recommended).
