I have a letter in PDF format and i wish to edit the letter, Anyone can help me?

I assume you don't have Adobe Acrobat? (Adobe Reader only lets you read PDFs, not edit them. Adobe Acrobat is one program that lets you edit them)
Can you highlight the text in the PDF? If so, you can copy it out of the PDF and paste it into a word processor to make your edits.
If you can't highlight the text, make sure you're in "Select Text" mode rather than "Pan" mode.
If you still can't then you're going to have to download a program that will let you do that. There are many out there...

Unfortunately, to edit a pdf you need a program such as Adobe Acrobat. It's an expensive program, so a better option would be to highlight the desired text, copy and paste it into a word document, and edit the text from there. Acrobat usually sells for a few hundred dollars (maybe 200 pounds) so this is definitely your least expensive option.

openoffice can edit pdf's for free, you just need the pdf import extension,
