I switched from winME to Win98. Now my color is gone. Any way I can get it back? Only have 16 colors now.?

I don't have a winME disk. I already formatted my disk and put win98 on it. I switched because I wanted more of the screensavers and wallpaper in windows setup. I have the win98 disk. I had all my colors when I had winME on it. So I know the color works. Won't work on win98 though. Please help.

You need to download and install the proper video driver, then it will work again.

GET XP: You are missing out big time! But youre in 16 colours because your video/graphics card hasnt been installed (properly) because youve gone backwards there may be issues with compatibility betwenn hardware and operating system...and why go back to 98...all i use is ME, i already bought one OS, gates isnt getting any more of my cash.

Yes you need to see what your video card is and download and install the driver.
