Hello, ever since i updated windows xp with Service Pack 2, and then i updated it with Service pack 3, i notice that service pack 3 didnt have all these cool features, as opposed to the features in Service pack 2...For Example:

In Service Pack 2, it introduces the Security Center, where i can check my Virus Checker, Firewall settings, and Internet Options.....
now when i installed Service Pack 3, it doesn't have any new Cools stuff like that, the Security Center is still there.
Dont you think it would be Cool if Service Pack 3 had like a cool feature Like New Settings...something similar to "Security Center" But it didn't introduce anything special to it.
But i do know for sure if i go to my system properties windows.
it shows as "Service Pack 3"

=)

XP SP3 doesn't have any real signifigant upgrades in it like SP2 did because Microsoft is trying to put all the hype on Vista SP1 because Microsoft would like to give XP up. So really, you shouldn't be expecting more than updates and patches from SP3 because Microsoft has made it clear that it wants to cut XP off.

A service pack does not necessarily add new function or features, it is intended as a roll up of all fixes since the last service pack (or original gold code) was released. Sometimes function is added, but that is normally to take advantage of something like the security center. For admins, it is far easier to do an install of the base OS plus a service pack than to install all the individual updates, especially if you do it often. Before SP3 came out, there were over 70 updates that needed to be applied after installing XP base and SP2.

I was also disappointed in the amount of new features in Service Pack 3. However, Microsoft did say that it would not contain any updates that make a big difference to the interface or new settings. This was mainly a service pack that contained SP2 and all of the updates after it, including some new updates only available in the service pack.

Sp3 is an addition to SP2, and SP3 became released for a reason. SP3's information overwrite a number of SP2's and subsequently do no longer take in as plenty HDD area as you think of. As regards the different classes you may get rid of them yet you will no longer have a functioning pc. have relaxing.
