I am showing the trend of poverty rates by age groups for certain years. What Excel chart should I use? Column, Line, Pie, Bar, or Area chart? I would appreciate the help.

Try different chart types. Line and Scatter charts are usually easily understood. Column charts with a trend line can be real "eye-catching" because of the contrast between the column style and the trend line.
It comes down to what shows your data best.

I think a line graph would be most easy to understand for trending data. You can use a different line for each age group.

do this.......... spotlight/go with the finished graph you want to replica Then, go with edit - replica or Key Ctl "C" (similar result) Now, bypass on your be conscious record and instead of doing edit - Paste, do the following: From the job bar; go with Edit - Paste particular..........then go with image (Megafile) could get the effect needed/needed
