Which application is Good for recording streaming audio?

Question

looking for some software for me to record streaming audio i want from a live stream. Please only post apps you used or are using now and not ones you simply googled I tried several and they all sucked. Thanks for the input

I use a program called Replay Music. You can download a free demo of it which will let you record something like 25 tracks before the trial ends. Although you need to pay for it eventually, you will find that it has more options and less ad-ware associated with it than most of the free programs you find online. It also has the ability to save the files as mp3 or wav depening on your needs. It can also do CBR (Constant Bit Rate) from 128-320 Kbps or VBR (Variable Bit Rate), so you can monitor the size of the files that you create with it.

Well, may be you find out better freeware, But i'm using it currently to record conversation. It's, too, freeware. What do you think about it?

I am using audacity. Its great and its free and easy to use.



You need lame mp3 encoder to export it as an mp3
