I just reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate on an Acer 5755G, however it can't detect WiFi. I tried Fn + F3, didn't get a pop up saying that the wireless is on so I just assumed that it's on right now.
I went to the Acer website to download Wireless LAN drivers, however it doesn't seem to work. I tried all drivers (Atheros, Intel and Broadcom) but no result, I only have a LAN connection, but it doesn't say that I have wireless connection (when I go to network settings, there is only LAN and no wireless)

Any tips ?

I recommend you to detect what wifi chip producer in your notebook.

The latest Broadcom can be downloaded here, it should work.

Check out the driver version precisely. Completely remove any previous wifi driver, reboot, install the one SUITABLE for your hardware and OS (read your mainboard manual carefully) and reboot once more.

If it worked with previous Windows, chance are, its not the card problem, but some OS glitch

Ensure your wireless LAN card is working properly.
