I made a map in a docx file, to copy all lines I have to keep pressing control key and click on each line. if I make a single click beside the line (e.g. I miss the line) I have to start all over again. please help.

I know what you mean. I hate it when the DRAWING LINES get unselected by a wayward mouse click. You can select multiple lines at one time if there is no text in the same vertical space by highlighting the area that contains the lines. However, it's really hard to estimate how far you have to go to select the lines and you may also get other stuff you didn't want in there.

My suggestion would be to select all of the lines once, right click on one of them, go to Grouping -> Group. Now they all can be selected with a single click. If you need to change/move one of them, right-click on it, go to Grouping -> Ungroup. Deselect them all, reselect the one you need, and move it around. Then just right-click one, goto Grouping -> Regroup (so you don't have to select them all again).

This works great if you pretty much plan on always keeping a certain set of lines in the same relative positions, and just moving them all as one object. You can also have "layers" of grouping, where you group multiple objects together, some of which can be already grouped objects. When you ungroup the whole thing, it doesn't ungroup the sub-assemblies.

now and again the formatting from the source is obdurate, quite from an digital mail, and overrides note. I usually ought to adhere it into Notepad so it has no formatting, then replica it from there into note. it always works.

Try CTRL and A (should select ALL)

Then CTRL and C (should COPY)

Then CTRL and V to paste it
