You must test new media software that plays large multimedia presentations (often 3 MB or larger). The software is being developed for Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows XP. Can you configure a multiboot system with all three of the operating systems in such a way that a single drive can host at least six media presentations that can be accessed from all three operating systems? If so, how? If not, what other solution(s) can be used?

I don't know about the media presentations, not my area, but you can use GAG boot loader to boot up to nine operating systems.

Its really a nice boot loader, I was using it to boot Linux/XP/Vista, now I'm down to Linux and Vista.

Open source program with quite a bit of info and support if you need it. You probably won't.

You can configure a pc with the operating systems in a dual boot scenario. However this is not recommended for several reasons. First off, you risk corrupting the system files because some are not compatible with another. If you still go with that scenario, you can not have all the systems operating at the same time. When the computer starts up, you need to select a single operating system to boot into. My suggestion would be to get a computer with a LOT of ram in it and download virtual pc (free from microsoft) and load your operatins systems in a virutal pc.

Put in your win xp disk and boot from it. When it loads go into recovery mode. (type r and hit enter) Select your win xp install (type the right number and hit enter) At the command prompt type fixmbr and hit enter Agree to overwrite Master Boot record. type exit and hit enter to reboot. Now only win xp is on the master boot record so boot into xp as you normally would. Now you can delete the Win 98 partition or just format it and you now have an all Win XP system..

You must partition the drive into three sections and install oldest to newest operating systems
