Microsoft Excel 2002 Question?

I have a question about excel, here at my job we use excel alot, my co-worker has the same problem every month, and it seems to be only her that has the problem.
When she types comments into a cell (words and numbers) on one spreadsheet and tries to copy the cell into a "shared" spreadsheet when she pastes it into the cell, some of her words do not paste over, it cuts off after so many words. She is the only one who has this problem, I had her send me her spreadsheet, I saved it onto my PC as a new document, pasted exactly what she tried to paste over and my pasted over just fine. I have been trying to find answers on the web, but with no luck. Is there maybe a setting on hers that needs to be adjusted to fix the problem?
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to do a virus scan on her computer. Also, that file may be somewhat corrupted. One of my co-workers had a similar problem with one of his files. He couldn't get a chart to turn out right. Our IT person and me worked quite a bit on trying to correct the problem. Going through all of the different Excel options and trying every method we could with no luck whatsoever. Finally, I came back to him with the data looking exactly like what he wanted. He asked, "How'd you do it?" I told him, "Easy, sometimes it's easier to just start from scratch." Every time I tried copying the data, whatever was corrupted would copy over and mess up the new file's chart. So I manually typed in the data by hand for the chart. It took less time than what all we did trying to fix it by changing options and stuff and never accomplishing our end goal by that means.

So there are a couple things I'd do if I was her:

1.) Have IT run a virus scan on her computer.

2.) Download all of the latest updates for Excel 2002

3.) Re-create that file from scratch, because it is probably corrupted. Then get rid of that file.

4.) If she still has problems, you might have IT check the registry for Excel for her.
That's what she said

Give this a try: copy the cell

Then instead of just going paste (ctrl+v) she can go Edit> Paste special > Comments

i assume you % to transform textual content textile that's ALREADY in the cells? we could assume the textual content textile sits in B1:B20. you % a sparkling column someplace. i will do this in column C. In C1, you style =top(b1) then reproduction that formulation down each of how as much as the place you require it. Then spotlight all the newly copied cells (as much as C20 as a effect) and click reproduction. Now click on B1 (merely b1) and decide EDIT / PASTE particular on the menu and decide VALUES and click ok. Excel will now replace the present textual content textile with the newly switched over textual content textile, devoid of pasting the formulation! you may now delete the formulation in column C. elementary Peezy :) different formulation are =decrease() and an extremely attainable one =perfect() - this final one will capitalize the 1st character in elementary terms. desire this facilitates.

Your best bet would be to add this question to a Microsoft Newsgroup.

Most of the people that go there are professionals and can be of a GREAT help.
