Most colleges use antikobpae
Which checks github and thousands of other sites too
(its usually embeded into nearly ALL detection software packages) So yea if its copied from github they will know.

Yes. Don't know the name of it, but it checks project sites and a teacher submitted database as well. One of the sites that houses projects and papers is run by one of the plagiarism checking services.
